Hello again all,
Well after staying at Fawlty Towers for three nights and living to tell the tale, we are happy to annouce that we are on the road again travelling through the pituresque towns of Provence. We are currently residing in the lovely tiny town of Salon de Provence. Surrounded by casltes, museums and a water fountain every 600 yards, it's hard not to appreciate this place. The hotel is basic but compared to the hell we stayed in Nimes - it feels like a 5 star hotel! Last night we holed up at a restaurant and we were treated to some jazz as we ate (a rare treat eating out due to the small country's defence budget it costs here!) so we savoured the wine!
Unfortunately we have stumbled upon a religious holiday here and so leaving us to wonder the streets in peace - looking for a cheap wine shop I may add!! Tomorrow we are on the road again this time hitting Aix-en-Provence for 2 nights before moving on to Toulon. We hope you are all ok and the weather improves in England - some flood warnings??
