Well Fawlty Towers was awful but we still managed to have an amazing time in Nimes.

We visited the oldest, largest and most complete Roman Amphitheatre's in the world - stunning.

Also there was a temple - rather spoilt by more scaffolding but still impressive never the less.

Nimes is small but packed with people during the day, however it is like a ghost town at night and there is not much to do other than buy cheap plonk and sit by the door with a baseball bat!!!
