Well have we been busy or what! Today saw the mammoth task of seeing every street, shop catherdral and landmark in Paris!
We started with a trip to the very confusing Garde De Lyon station to book our tickets for Lyon tommorrow. Steven Hawking would have difficulty working out how to buy tickets in France!!
We then set off on one of numerous metro journeys and found ourselves at the wonderful La Defense, a gorgeous business park (if there is such a thing!) The views here were simply stunning.
After a spot of lunch there we went on to the Arc De Triumphe where Heather suddenly became official photographer and even captured the Arc in the reflection in my sunglasses!! (Too much sun I think!!)
Next we walked to the most known landmark in all France - the Eiffel Tower. The pictures we took do not do this amazing place justice, it's a shame the queues were far too big for us to go up - maybe another time.
Lastly we found our way to the biggest gallery in the entire universe (I say that because it took us an hour to find our way out!!) and snapped the Mona Lisa.
We are now off to see if we can go up the Notre Dame with it being illuminated - that's the official photographer's instructions again!!

Bonjour my petite pois!
If you have time try to get up to Sacre Coeur and Montmatre it is fantastic and there are some cool little markets etc.
From Sacre Coeur you can see views of the whole of Paris and the church is so peaceful and breathtaking.
I'm off to the big smoke next week on a course not quite the same but at least it a change!! Lots of love T xx
