We are on the next country of our tour in the rather rainy Paris (finally after our plane from Barcelona was delayed by 3 hours!) We have had another busy day today visiting the Notre Dame Catherdral, which was truely amazing, followed by a visit to the Bastille and their famous and overwhelming Sunday markets. We had a spot of lunch at st. George's Square and then off to the impressive Picasso museum, boy could he wave a brush around!!
Rather oddly, we found a fake beach in the middle of Paris and some women were doing aqua-aerobics!! To finish off with, we went to the history of Paris museum and visited the glorious gardens.
We are writing this with full tums as we have just finished a gigantic meal at La Petite Bouclerie in which we got a starter of ham & cheese salad followed by a ham, cheese sausage & egg crepe and a bowl of cider for 9 euro's each - bargin!!
Tommorrow we are off to the Eiffel Tower, then to the Lourve and anywhere else we can go on the metro!!
