We are leaving Italy today after 10 glorious days. We spent 5 full days in Rome. We went to the Pantheon, the best preserved Roman temple in Italy, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Vatican City (which was beautiful, but exhausting) and the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain(where were threw coins in to ensure that we come back to Rome). We also went to the Capuchin cryps, where the monks created macabre but beautiful art from the bones of their deceased. We had many wonderful meals there, and will miss it, but we are looking forward to Greece.
