We visited the Duomo Cathedral, the second largest in the world after St. Peter's in Rome. It is true Gothic architecture at irs best. It is very dark inside, with beautiful stained glass. We then went to the Galleria Vittorio, often referred to as the world's first shopping mall, and walked around. It is a work of art in iteself. There is a special mosaic on the floor of a bull, and the Milanese believe that if you spin your heel on the bull's "delicate parts" it brings you luck. Needless to say, the area is well worn. We then went to La Scala theater museum, where we saw the famous opera house as well as the various artifacts associated with it. They had a special exhibit of the great soprano Maria Callas, which was wonderful.
After another great meal, we are ready for bed. Tomorrow we see Leonardo's  Last Supper and then we are on our way to Florence.
