Sorry we have not written in awhile. Jenny and Katherine had slight colds, so we were pretty quiet for the last week in Seville. We have since recovered. We had a few nice farewell dinners with some friends, and on Saturday we went to the Casa de Pilatos, a 16th century mansion that was home to various regional govenors. It was named Pilate's House because it is supposedly modeled after Pontious Pilate's house in Jerusalem. It was also the site of the first station of the cross. It is a long story, filled with myth and legend, which we will share with those who are interested over some good Spanish wine. This afternoon we went on the train to Madrid, and had time to go to the Prado museum. We were in luck---on Sundays it is open late and free to the public. We saw the great masters----Valesquez, Goya, El Greco, and many others. It is truly a wonderful museum. Tomorrow we leave this great country and go to Milan, Italy. We will update this post with pictures and keep everyone up to date with new posts from Italy.
