We have been having a great time in Paris. We are lucky that our friend Deborah, who lives here, was able to spend some time with us. On Saturday night, we went to the Dorsay museum, where the Impressionist paintings are. We were fortunate in our timing, because twice a year the French government opens all the museums to the public for free until midnight. We went to Versailles yesterday. It was very impressive, although very crowded. We went up last night to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was amazing. We also had dinner in the Monmarte area, where the artists are. It was a great dining experience with French music to accompany it.
Today we went to the Notre Dame Cathedral---spectacular! We also went to the Pantheon, where such notables as Voltaire, Rousseau, and Marie Curie are buried. We finished the evening with some delicious Moroccan food. We only have one more day here before we go back to Seville.
