Well, we finally have better internet access and time to share some photos. We went yesterday to the Cathedral. It is one of the largest in the world. The builders supposedly said that they wanted the whole world to think that they were mad-----they certainly succeeded. The cathedral is under renovation, so some things we could not see, but it was very impressive. Christopher Columbus (or Cristobol Colon, as he is known here) is buried in the cathedral. There is also a beautiful gold altar.
