Atherton-A quirky little place with a lot less rain and fresher air infact we had a couple of pleasant days there trying to isolate the leak on the car.

Port Douglas- A really nice little place and it was here that I decided I couldn't take the wet weather anymore and we decidie to move inot a hostel and get out of the yet again constant rain. Oh a dry room where things feel dry and not dampI didn't realise how much I had missed it! Port Douglas is a very pretty little place with lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area!! We stayed here for a few days and pottered around the town and beach! We had a nice relaxed time!!

Mossman- We went for a walk in the rain forest wnd were tempted to go into the gorge and have a dip but on our way round the paths James went in the river and got a leach attached to him and that put us off!!  Oh James said I had to put it was gushing with blood!! Apart from that it is a beautiful place to go the river is amazing with its fantstic boulders.

Daintree - James has been waiting to see a crocodile all the time we have been in Austarlia and the time finally arived. We went for a trip on the daintree river and we did get to see a couple of small crocs from a distance. Apparently it wasn't the best time of year to see them! While in the Daintree we visited Cape Tribulation where the rainforest meets the sea !! very beautiful just how I think a desert island will look!!
