Our travels from Port Pirie to Mt Gambier and all the places inbetween

Port pirie-After arriving back in a civillised town with Mcdonalds , subway and Kfc .We stopped in a little town called port pirie because it told us too in a leaflet perhaps we should'nt always believe what we read.It was a small town with a little beach the trouble was that the beach was taken up by a massive factrory which i think must have employed the whole town .We stayed for two nights on the campsite whilst there an Aussie from the tent opposite came over to us and explained to us that he had some beer in his camper that he did'nt like ."well my friend this is your lucky night because I like beer very much"I replied. And  I helped that aussie man  drink all his nasty beers no need to thank me I told him it was my pleasure.

Meningie-After returning to south australia towns were now alot closer by with more choice and freedom to where we stayed. The next place we pitched our tent was Menengie we chose here because the campsite was right on the shore of lake Albert, for those of you that dont know I have dog called Albert so it was obviously meant to be. There was just one main street with a few shops and a bowling green every town seems to have a bowling green. The main memorys from here are buying a spatchelor and chasing massive Herons trying to take there picture oh yeah we went to the butcher and bought sausage and egg and that made a fine meal  .

Kingston- We didnt stay in Kingston there was'nt alot there only a giant lobster.

Robe- We stayed in Robe cos the Barnard family recommended it too us  ( the Barnards the family we woofed)they said it had lovely beaches and it did the only problem that it was bloody cold to go any where near the beach never mind the sea.Robe was an old quiet fishing port here we walked on the cliffs and took in the scenery also had the first taste of Aussie fish and chips .The chips were'nt up to much but fish was bootiful .
