We arrived by ferry which was straight forward! Then we just needed to get to our hotel which ended up being staright forward aswell!! The information desk at the ferry are very helpful and told us where we could get a free shuttle bus from and greatfully when we walked out the door there it was, waiting for us!! 

From the ferry Macau looked like a toy town made out of lego or the set for a film ( the casino area I think)! Around our hotel though was very different it definatley had a feel of Portugal about it with little cobbled streets and the architacture of the buildings had a portugese feel. Quite quaint really, but this is on the island of Taipa which is part of Macau. Macau is made up of three parts apparently down the bottom  the coast is beautiful
