We left Hong Kong by train from Hung Hom ( that's where you need to go to get your ticket from and leave Hong Kong to go to china, you can get there by MTR) The ticket cost $190 per person and it takes about 2 hours. Guangazhou is different to Hong Kong it's a lot slower and less busy. The people are different too they speak very little english (if any) and they tend to stare more and publically hack up and spit on the floor. ( which is quite disgusting)  I don't think we have seen everything in Guangzhou I don't think we quite got our heads around it. I think we wanted to be a little more relaxed due to the hectic speed of Hong Kong. A night cruise is a must the lights are really nice in parts it looks like Paris (however on the light front it is Hong Kong's poorer relation, but it is nice) The hostel is very nice, clean, cheap, friendly, good location and helpful.Oh and a big bottle of beer from the shops or the hostel is about 5 yuan ( 40p and it's quite nice)

Food is about the same price as Hong Kong more of the cheaper than the expensive end. There is a variety of food and with not much english it is quite interesting ( they do provide some part english menus and pictures) They tend to eat ALL of the animal if you know what I mean. (inside and out)  We are leaving Guangzhou today to go to Yangshou See you there.
