Hello family and friends me and the mighty Ruth are coming towards the end of our stay in hong kong cant really believe we've been away a week. During our stay in hong kong we have visited many many markets eg bird market ,flower market , fish market , stanley market , temple street market , night market and the disappointing lady market not what i thought at all no ladies for sale just clothes .We have also managed to squeeze in a few other things as well as the markets . Taking the peak tram and getting a view of hong kong island in the day then Ruth wisely suggested we stay till night fall to see it all lit up . This was a truly amazing site ! We also went to see a big Buddha the biggest in the world i think whilst there the monks kindly made us a vegetarian dinner i dont suppose the monks have access to the Internet so i can be honest it was foul.
The weather is hot, humid and energy sapping so much so we both fell asleep in Kowloon park even though there were signs everywhere saying no lying down rock n roll or what.
Overall Hong Kong has been an experience with the smells , food and the street sellers NO I DONT WANT TO BUY A BLOODY ROLEX. Maybe Hong Kong is a bit busy for me everybody in rush so many shops so many lights . I believe Hong kong would benefit from someone adding a couple of hours onto every day just so people could slow down a bit . The memories i will take away i think will be of the times we stepped out of the hustle and bustle into the beautiful parks which were set in the city but managed to be so peaceful , The amazing views of islands scattered in the ocean and may be the best memory gettin a pint of Tetleys in Hong Kong anyhow on to China auf wedersein pet
