Gambling doesn't change regardless where you are in the world !!

last week i was down in Windsor, just across the border from Detroit in America, if you have a good arm you could throw a stone,( or rock depends what your feeling about the US are ) at them !!
Basicly this little town is all made around the casino, a lot of Americans visit here as it is only across the river, and a lot on Cannucks also. The weather was still cold, actually very very cold, i went for a little walk, and it was little as the cold was bone chilling, wind making you walk facing the floor just so you don't get knocked backwards!

so i stayed in the casino in the on location hotel which Aunt Jackie and Fred very kindly sorted out for us. Personally i lost $50 bucks, but Jackie and Fred were both even i think. There were some real rich people there, throwing $1000 a time on the roulette table and not even flinching when they lost. but one guy won $4000 on one spin which was good to see!

That was Monday of last week, after a great weekend spent with Jackie,Fred,Richard,Susan,Kaitlyn and Gavin at the cottage and at Freds house. Great food, Great company and great locations. I loved it.

Wednesday we returned to Toronto and visited a sportsman show that is in town, lots of boats, outdoor stuff, adventure stuff, it was great, met some weird people, some awful sales people and saw some crazy things.

nothing for the next couple of days until Friday when i went out with mike to a house party for St.Paddys day, i love how this day is celebrated all over the world! and in Toronto they do it huge! all day drinking, companies letting workers off early, line up at pubs and bars at lunch time, and for the rest of the day , insane! a great night was had, and a terrible Saturday followed! for obvious reasons.
So with our hangovers in hand , Mike and I headed to robs for a day of video games on the xbox and a few more beers to help the day go by ! good chilling i say.

I have booked my next little trip within Canada, Rob Des and I are heading to Montreal on the 31th for the weekend, then they both will head back to Toronto and Im hanging around for a few more days, and then catching the train to Quebec City, so i need to catch up on my French ! its only a little 11 day trip, but it'll be good to to see some more of Canada.
