THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD

as the title said, Saturday was a lazy day, we were both exhausted and couldnt move or get out of bed, so we put the trip back another day ! and chilled out, and got some energy back, driving around here its hard work. it really takes it out of you.

so nothing to say abut the daytime, but at night we went walking around st kilda and went to see the pier and the coast line, the westgate bridge, and then on to Luna Park, a fun park. Not a very good one mind, but it was intresting, it has a huge clown at the front you have to walk through its mouth to get in. a good photo oportunity. then a walk round all the famous streets looking at all the variety of shops, bars, and trying to avoid all the prostitutes on the street, aswell as all the wierdo's walking around. ( just like us two i guess !!) i phoned home, and phoned jade, it was nice to speak to her if only briefly. R'kid ( brother andy ) informed me that it was derby day, so tom and i headed to a irish pub to watch the game, it was a no alcohol day so we stuck to cokecola! and then the boys lost 3-1, PANTS.

sunday we finnally made headway, at 10am we hit the road, via Bob's house, a friend of toms he used to live with last time he was here, dropped some things off, picked up sleeping bags and rugs, had a brew and some toast and off we went.

straight to Bells Beach, where there was a surf comp on, the mens final! so a little time there some good piccies and off to the next sight. the great ocean road is a must do, its such an amazing drive. the road is windy, fast, slow, hilly, its just amazing.

we stopped at most of the sights, there are so many to see you need at least 4 days to do it all properly. so ill be back to do it again.i could talk through all the things we saw, but i think the pictures will do more justice. so wait for those!

the 12 aposstals are no longer 12, i counted 8 ! but stil a great sight, we got there around sunset so the colours were great. the perfect time to see them.

then off to see all the other sweet coast line that south victoria has to offer.

we splet in warnnambool last night, a wicked hostel , just like someones house, clean, loads of couches, a huge tv, pool table, the lot. i slept ok but like i said tom didnt.

mabye well get to adelaide today, it depends, well just wait and see. if we see somewhere worth stopping then we will.
