coogee beach is a pretty cool place people.
ive met loads of nice people round here, its got a real ambient mood about it, real chilled, no hassle , all smiles. i like it !
staying here untill monday morning at least, thats when im booked untill at the surfside hostel. not sure if im staying longer, but maby not, probably head to melbourne, depends on flight prices i guess...
today, eddie ( romeo ) , nick,fez,tom,and 3 other guys whose name i cant remember jumped on the bus to maruba (think thats how its spelt) only 10 minutes, its the next beach along. $2.80 and 10 minutes im lay on the beach.!
it was the first day of sun in a a few days, so i made the most of it. but unfortunatly i fell asleep on the beach and got a little pink ! its not fullon sunburn but i look like a red light district has made home on my face! especially my forehead.
the waves were some of the biggest ive seen since i got to OZ, a mass of surfers were out and it was very impressive to watch them . i will learn that one day. i tried the water out and got beat up by the waves, among with all the other stupid water dwellers around me! i got hit 3 times in a row a one point, bearly giving me time to get my breath before another mountain of white foam engfuffed my mouth! mmm salt water!
played some footy, and headed back around 7pm.
the day stated of really well, i awoke with some enthusiasum, and went running, ran for around an hour, it was a nice run, following the cliffy coast line the the beach to the south of here. very pretty. ! i was asked if i had just been swimming when i returned to the hostel, i was so sweaty! haha
so saturday tonight, and im knackered, been to the bottlo, bought some white wine, and gonna chill out in the lounge room and grab some movies. good plan me thinks.! rock n roll
