Somehow we get the game going at 2.30pm amidst a spell of rainless weather
We skip back down to the pub for another beer and some sandwiches, which are essentially the same as I had for lunch but at a fraction of the cost. Marcus says "who wants to go to Stonehenge?" John W., Gue and I volunteer so we hurtle off in Marcus fast car. It is after 4pm and we have to be back at the hotel for our 8pm dinner, and Stonehenge is about two hours away. This equation leads Marcus to drive very quicklz through the pouring rain. We arrive at Stonehenge at 6pm and spend 15-20 minutes there before turning around again. It was not quite as mystical and awe-inspiring as I had imagined. It is all fenced off to prevent people touching the rocks. I would have liked to have got a little closer. The rain continues to fall on us, so we take a few photos and leave.
We are just in time for our formal dinner. It isnt actually all that formal in the end as only two people bother to wear a jacket and tie and some people are even wearing their tour-issue tracksuits.
