Since I was up until the sun was coming up this morning, I slept until noon. All of us slept in, all but Lynne of course.
I laid by the pool for 2 hours; it is the only time during the entire trip that I laid out in the sun. That is unbelievable as I am usually in the sun most of the time when I am in a warm climate. The weather today was cool with temperatures only in the high 60s. Every other day has been in the 80s. We did have a couple of hours of rain one day, but we didn't notice because it was while we were dancing.
Katerina didn't feel well so she stayed in for the evening but the rest of us went to Al's for cocktails. Al is from Minnesota and has his own apartment in BsAs in a very nice neighborhood, Belgrano. He is retired and lives in BsAs for 5-6 months a year. Another fellow tango dancer from Minnesota, Ann, arrived recently as well. Gary, another tango dancer from Minnesota and Kim joined us.
We had a delightful time at his place and he shared information about the area. He has a gorgeous apartment and was a wonderful host. We laughed and talked for a while before going to the outdoor milonga, Le Glorieta de Belgrano. It is held in a gazebo in a park in the evening. Unfortunately I don't have pictures because there was no place to keep my camera safe outside. We danced until 11 p.m. and headed back to Al's for more conversation. I was back home at around midnight. A very early night, except that when I got home I worked in the blog because my time schedule is so off. I was not tired!
I also sat on my balcony and reminisced about this wonderful trip that was coming to an end. Only one more night after tonight-very sad. But I am very anxious to get home to my family!!
