I haven't been keeping up too well lately so I'll do my best with remembering what went on the past couple days.

Millis and I slept till about 12:00 in the afternoon, which felt pretty nice. My first step in the bathroom was equivalent to stepping out for a nice stroll in the Antarctic. Freezing! We leisurely made our way to school and stopped at a place called The Punisher for lunch. I had the sandwich called "the punisher," which had ham (of course), pork loin, egg, and cheese. Pretty delicious.

We went to class that day, apprenhensive of seeing the Human Pug (Santi) who loved to lick his lips when he was trying to think of the appropriate word to tell the class while simultaneously looking like a Pug. We learned a couple useful things in both classes, but continued to be bored for the most part.

Dinner this week consisted of a buffet with a small salad bar section, some type of meat or two, French fries and some other side items. Best part of the meal was probably the dessert. It consisted of profiteroles (probably definitely my favorite new word) [a type of cream puff] and a decent chocolate mousse.  I actually dumped my profiterole into my mouse and ate it right up!

That night, people wanted to do something, but nothing that necessarily dictated raging. So, we went to a pretty cool hookah bar that very close to our residencia. We were rolling pretty deep as we had about 20 people stroll along for the ride, including 3 of our new Dutch girl friends and some French/Spanish guy who didn't speak English so that was pretty awkward [turtle] for him. We shared some sangria and some 'nargilah' and had many laughs, mainly revolving around our friend Eric's sweet mustache. In Dutch, it's called a 'sneur' and somehow thought that hilarious all night. So much to the point that we began using it as a word for cool in our newfound dialect of Spanglish, now even implementing Dutch.

Some people wanted to go back, but my friend Pat and I stayed out for a little while longer with the Dutch girls and went to an Irish pub called Hannigan's for a little while. American music played and we split a bottle of wine. It was just interesting to talk about our cultural differences and fun times in our respective countries while all speaking in English, which was very convenient. We went back a little later and crashed for the night.
