We took a first class overnight bus from buenos aires to Mendoza, Argentina's wine region. Everyone says how great the buses are in Argentina, they weren't lying. Fully reclining seats into beds, own personal tv with on demand movies (in English!!), huge dinner, wine and champagne on board, and nice and warm! Such a change from some of the rubbish buses we have had!!

Mendoza is a beautiful city, views of the Andes and the best part, the wines! It is colder than ba, was mostly early teens for us, but sunny and clear days.

We went on two wine tours organized through our hostel. The first was in a bus, we went to two wineries and one olive oil factory. One thing we have learnt, they certainly don't give us much tastings as they do back home. We did get tours of the wineries and learnt how the produce the wine.

The second tour was a bike tour, we rode between three different wineries. One of wineries we had been to the previous day, so we organized to skip the tour of winery and paid for some more tastings! Biking around the wineries was a lot of fun! We bought many bottles to bring home with us too!

The last day we went for a walk around Mendoza, through their huge park, around the shops (although it was Sunday so nothing was open!)

Looking forward to our overnight bus back to ba, for our last two days before heading home!
