another early morning, pulic bus to Phnom Penh, Crossed the border from Vietnam to Cambodia, the bus wa a luxury one which served food, drink and had a TV and music on it so the long journey didnt seem that long!
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, it was creepy, something actually come over me and I didnt like it at all! I didnt want to go anywhere on my own, poor Ann-Louise had to come everywhere with me! Even the loo! This place didnt have a nice, friendly feeling at all! When you walked outside the hotel wewas followed by men with no arms, no legs, face tumars, they followed us for money! Most of these disablilities where from the war under 30 years ago, other children who were deformed was from the parents being in the war and then having children...
The reason I was so freakd out my the goss in the city was because I just read this book 'first they killed my father' I actually finished it the day I got here so it was all fresh in my head!
We had a quick tour round the ity and a half hour boat ride, but even then all i could think about was how many people died in the river, the river was called 'the river sap'
Grant took us for dinner to a nice place and then of course we went for our usual few drinks after, I had to try and drink as i wouldnt sleep otherwise! We headed on to a nightclub called 'the heart of darkness' It was really good, people from all over the world was there. Lots of sexy men! well a few anyway!
