After Montenegro it was off to Croatia with our first stop in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik is one cool city, the old town is really special and some of the beaches there are really cool. Although I still found it difficult lying on slabs of concrete when going to the beach, we got used to pebbly beaches and that, but the whole concrete thing was still not cool. After Dubrovnik we set of on our trip through the Croation Islands. We visited two of the larger ones, Korccula and Hvar.

It was in Korcula that we done more than just swim and lie in the sun, we decided to hire a kayak and go rowing. So about 20 meters into the water we began our first spin, which was followed by another, and than 1 hour later we still hadn't worked it out so we done a few more spins. I'm not joking, we were absolutely hopeless, the two of us together just couldn't make the kayak go forward. We just couldn't time it properly together which of course caused a few arguments and insults about who was more uncoordinated than the other. At one stage we had lost all control and started to drift towards a naked hippy looking sunbather guy. We tried our hardest to direct the kayak the other way, but we just kept drifting closer and closer:(

Anyways. after Korcula we hopped onto another ferry and headed for Hvar island.
We read about this Hvar place in the lonely planet book and its claim to fame was that it enjoyed the most hours of sunlight of any place in Croatia. That day it began to rain...

We set of to Split a day later and then got an overnight bus to Saraejvo, Bosnia
