You just simply had to love Granada. Civilisation at last! After having been trapped in Malaga for 10 days extremely sick it was nice to be back on my feet and able to travel further.
Granada was an exciting mix of green hills, imposing Rocky Mountains, stylish cafes, large plazas and the lush green Alhambra sitting on the hill top overlooking the city.
The Alhambra the must see attraction in Granada is a fortress palace that is a blend of stunning Islamic architecture, lush green well presented gardens and has a treasure trove of stunning ornate rooms. It holds a quite tranquillity despite the large number of tourists present.
