Sighisoara was another awesome medieval walled town, with eleven towers still remaining along the outstretched arms of the town walls. This town is the birthplace of the legendary Vlad Tepes or 'The Impaler'. Inside the walls lays a beautifuly preserved town of cobblestone streets and pastel coloured crumbling buildings. One of the towers housed the massive clock tower still housing the original 1648 clock.
