The Alarm rang at 6am today and I was showered and at the station by 7am. I had to catch a train to Oaatende to catch the ferry to Dover. When I go there, I was told the ferry had been cancelled so I ended up having to go to Calais in France instead.
I arrived at the white cliffs of Dover by midday and caught a bus back to London. I got back to Victoria station and then headed back to the Wellington, where my Boss had given me a job again. Its pretty refreshing being back in London after a good wee break and I am pleased to have a home for a while.
It has been a pretty frenetic and fast paced but extraordinary last 2 and a ½ months, but I have seen loads and although I haven't spent loads of time at each place I am pretty content.
I already have my next trip planned for a longer more though trip around the rest of Europe, for now though its time to have a beer with a few mates from work.
