I arrived in Warsaw in the morning at 6.30 am and gathered my bearing and headed to my hostel. Once there I booked my room and stashed my backpack away and rushed out to take in the capital. The route that I had taken did a pretty good job at hiding the beautiful facades of the nearby streets, but I soon stumbled onto them. I spent most of the morning wandering around. I was impressed with the 'tomb of the Unknown Soldier' and the surrounding gardens. I also liked the old town and Central Square. Later I slept in the sun outside the Palace of Culture and Science and then made my way to the hostel at 4pm. At night I managed to pull myself out of bed and venture back to the old town where I took some photo's before heading back to bed to be kept up by my roommates chatting all night.
