I finally jumped on a Swebus to Kalmar on the opposite coast of Sweden. I arrived at 9pm and had a long walk before I managed to find a place to camp for the night. Amid huge winds I spent most of the night thinking that tree branches were going to fly through my tent as they creaked (reminder to myself: don't pitch up under huge logs of wood in high winds).
It was raining in the morning so I slept in until it wasn't so heavy. After aimlessly trying to find the bridge to Oland I luckily managed to catch the cycle bus over.
I managed to catch four separate rides on my way up to Lorttorp. I noticed heaps of windmills on my way up here. I have 2 Swedish miles to go tomorrow (that's 10kms to the real world). That night I pitched in a field that I knew full well was full of cows, but they were well on the other side of the paddock. I awoke at about 11pm to the sound of a huge cow munching her way into my tent. Needless to say I have never moved so bloody quickly in my life! One minute later I was back on the road looking for another place to sleep in the dark.

Awoke the next morning after an uncomfortable night sleeping in a ditch. I finally manage to catch the last ride in a 3-wheeled car with some crazy Swedish farmer and ended up in Kyrketorp. I stayed at a campsite right on the beach that had foxes running wild through it. Later that night I planned the rough direction of my trip through the Baltic States.
