Had breakfast as early as I could and then out exploring.
1st stop the shambles. Wow, this street is awesome - hard to believe almost that it's real and not just a Disney set or something - amazing that I was walking down a street and looking at buildings as people have done for centuries and centuries. I got there when it was still very quiet. When I walked through again later it was a sea of people, and not nearly as amazing. The buildings 1st stories are smaller than the second, the 2nd is smaller than the third, so the effect is the buildings hang over these narrow streets (houses only use to be taxed based on the 1st floor, so this was probably one of the first ways to avoid paying tax).
