On the train waiting to depart Brighton. I've enjoyed my time here. So on to bath.
Bath - 710pm
Today was a rough day for me. I was fine until I got to bath, but when I had a really hard time finding the YMCA, and then saw my bare room, I wondered what I had done, and wanted to go home. The y was out of singles so I had to take a bunk by myself - don't much like the confines of a bunk. Everything is clean and okay, but the co-ed washrooms and showers will take some getting used to. I'm also not happy that my bunk light doesn't work, so all I have is the big overhead light. Oh well, it's cheap and it's sort of forcing me to be amongst others in the lobby.
But anyway, pulled myself together and went to the roman baths - amazing. Went to the fashion museum - quite interesting and with the baths combo ticket, not too expensive. The abbey is beautiful, and is open to all so you don't have to pay if you don't want to - any guesses on whether I wanted to or not.
Didn't have much luck liking my food today, but got it down in absolutely gorgeous surroundings - the squares of the bath and abbey. I'm happy now too cause I can surf with the free wifi in the lobby.
Off to Stonehenge amongst other places tomorrow.
