Sitting at the gate. Early because Laura had a two hour drive and I didn't want her getting too tired to drive. It was hard to walk away from her at the gate - we're sick I know. We'll see each other again in less than 2 weeks.
I'm doing pretty good actually. In a bit of a haze I think - some is probably due to my "happy airplane" pills I'm sure, and maybe some is due to being overtired.
So it's pretty exciting - off on this adventure by myself. This should be the experience of a lifetime. Thanks to everyone for their support, with of course a special thanks to Laura, for not only going along with the plan, but unfailingly encouraging me. Love ya!
