Arrived at surat thani at 7.30am and after a further 6 hour journey of 3 different buses we arrived at krabi town. We must have eaten something bad the night before cus we both felt abit sick in the morning and the bus driver had to stop on the way for jade to get off as she was still feeling so sick.
Once arriving we booked our hotel for the next 2 nights on east railay, transport to get there was a half hr journey on the back of a rickshaw, 20min ride on a longtail boat along the beautiful bay and then we were there- diamond cave bungalow resort- its lovely here, we have a pool and is a 2 min walk to west railay beach which is the most beautiful beach either of us have ever seen. On either side of the emerald green water are magnificent high limestone cliffs which take your breath away. The restaurants along here are all lit up with lights and its like a fairy tale. People were even lighting lanterns and sending them into the sky....

Weve stayed on east railay as its alot cheaper than west railay, the walk over to the west side is only about 10 minutes from here so no problem for us.We had some lunch at the hotel restaurant sat right on the bay (half a pizza each and strawberry and vanilla milkshake) yum yum. Cashed some travellers chqs so we have some money for the next few days as we were running low.

During the evening we explored the island and had dinner (spagetti and chicken with salad and a chicken burger, a coke and fanta) over on west railay beach which cost us 280baht for both of us. 5-6pounds. Weve just wondered back to our side of the beach going to get some laundry done as our clothes are running low already too. Once weve finished writing on here we are going to the bar on the beach again as they have happy hour running-all cocktails 100baht each :)

We will upload the last 2 days pictures tomorrow as for some reason the computer wont read the camera at the moment.
