So here's the rules:
You have to remove all the 2's, 3's, and 4's from a standard deck.
The card values 5-10 have their face value (so 5=5, 6=6 etc) but the face cards are valued: Jack=2, Queen=3, King=4, and the Ace is only 11.
The dealer shuffles the deck and shows the first card (if the first card is 10 or an Ace it must be reshuffled) and then places that card facing up at the bottom of the deck. This marks the end of the deck because at the end of each round the dealer will collect the cards and place the used ones under the deck in the same manner until the entire deck is used. The game is played one versus one in that there is one dealer who deals to one person. They play and then the dealer deals the next and so on. The dealer gives the player one card and then themseleves one card (both face down only for the respective person to see. The player then asks for as many cards as they want (these cards are face up), if they gets just two aces (which is called fire), five face cards, or 21 they show their cards and they win the hand. Otherwise they try to build a decent hand, stop taking cards and have the dealer try to get a better hand without knowning the first card. When the dealer thinks s/he has the player beat they will tell them what a winning hand is say the dealer has 19 then they would say, ''20 to win.'' If the player or dealer goes over 21 (obviously not fire) that person loses.
Remember that card that was facing up? Well that becomes the signal for a new dealer and is also very important when gambaling. When gambaling the dealer starts the pot with the predetermined incriments of betting (we played with 10 cents and I will use it as an example)
I hope I didn't make is sound too confusing! And if I find a site with the game rules I will post it.
