Jackie at Toon Town
At Disney every thing is a dream . .including getting a decent spot to take pictures at! Just think of how tickled Walt Disney would have been to own his own copy of Photoshop CS4! (I did take all of these photos, I just got rid of the people using PS).
I got a tour of the Disney Back Lot Pyro Area thanks to a Western Pyrotechnic Association connection, and found the most well organized, high tec, pyro crew you can imagine. With a setup that you can only have in a stationary location, that shoots the same show every night, they have it quite fine tuned.
Disney fireworks are as earth friendly as can be, with 80% less smoke than normal, using compressed air rather than black powder to put the majority of the aerial shells in the sky and the brightest, clearest colors I have ever seen using percorate free formulas.
The Fireworks were fabulous, the colors more intense than I have ever seen before.
The following are the photos I would have taken had I had one of the VIP spots in front of Sleeping Beautie's Castle. Or maybe from one of the roof tops. Or yes . . I admit it . . .gotten to where I belonged sooner . . . say an hour or more before the fireworks .. .
In reality . . . after choosing what I thought was a halfway decent spot . . . as the lights dimmed, and all the fathers threw their children up on there shoulders. . . this is the view you have when you are not 5 foot tall .. . .
