Forget walking down the yellow brick road . . to day we went on a Jeep Run through a Yellow Desert.
The Kofa National Wildlife Refuge was yellow as could be with blooming
Desert Marigolds lining both sides of every wash and along the mountain
sides.
The Desert Mistletoe was absolutely covered with berries.
The mountains were spectacular.
The Beaver Tail Cactus were blooming profusely.
And all manor of other flowers were blooming.
We stopped and had lunch in the sun . . .
The Saguaro's are plump with water from the November rains.
