Where I stayed
The bus ride was prettz long but we finallz got to Zadar. At the station there was already a bus to Split and so we went in to the ticket office to buz a ticket but they told us just to buy one on the bus and we went back to the bus. The bus was already packed full though and so we waited because luckily another one was pulling in. There was a lot of people waiting for this bus though too so we were a little nervous, especially since everyone else seemed to have tickets in their hands. We managed to get the driver's attention through the masses though and he said to just get on, sweet. So we were safely on the bus but then the crappy part was that we realized we really should have taken the 9:30am bus that didn't go through Zadar also because we had already paid for the bus to Zadar and would now have to pay for a second bus to actually make it to Split, damn. The last part that made the bus so horrible was that after hours on the bus we were making yet ANOTHER stop and James thought it was Split and so we went to get off the bus only to be told by the driver that it was not. We went to get back to our seats though and they had already been taken by people just getting on so we ended up standing/sitting in the aisle! Grrrrr. It was another 4 or so hours on the bus till we finally made it to Split because they seemed to stop at every single little stop along the coastal road, but good for us we did manage to get our seats back after the people had eventually got off at their stops.
So finally in Split it didn't take long to find our hostel as it was close by. We did walk around for a while to take in the old part of the city and get supper but we retired to bed early since we were tired and annoyed after a 7 hour bus trip that day.
