The Louvre finally. When we got there the line was about a quarter of the size it was before but we still had to wait for about 40 min. Make sure you eat before going because food is expensive and lines are long; I (James) did not eat and ended up being grouchy the entire time. We first went off and saw the Mona Lisa to get it out of the way, lots of people of course. It is not that big so you have to push your way through to get a picture free of people's heads. We are not the biggest art fans but lots of the paintings are interesting. We liked the areas with sculptures and artifacts more because we are uncultured slobs, haha. But seriously the many many sculptures in the Louvre are absolutely amazing, and not just the Venus De Milo. Even though we were both getting hungry and tired from walking around for hours we managed to see the entire Louvre, it's not a quick task that's for sure.
The first thing we did when we left was to get food, since it was late afternoon and we hadn't eaten yet that was all that was on our minds. After that we decided we were wiped from the four days of sightseeing in Paris and went back to the hotel. We spent the rest of the late afternoon and evening working on the blog, well Jackie did anyway and I gave her a little help here and there.
