We were very excited to head to Zurich and see our friends Tom and Louise again today. We spent the morning packing for the weekend and had lunch with Sylvia and Dieter and the kids before they walked us to the train station. It took about 3 hours to get to Zurich. Tom would not be able to meet us because it was his dad's 60th birthday so Louise was waiting for us at the train station and we spent an hour or two walking around the old town of Zurich. Louise walked us around and tried to show us a few things but basically we were too busy catching up to really take anything in! We eventually stopped for a few drinks beside the river and was met by one of Louise's friends Garret.

When we were deciding where to go for supper fondue came up and Louise suggested that we could do it at her place. Apparently proper swiss people don't fondue unless its winter because its such a heavy meal and not suitable for warm weather. Because Tom wasn't there though (he's originally from Switzerland) and we were just with Louise, who's actually from Malta, we figured we could bend the rules. So we went to the store and bought bread and a salad and all four of us went back to her place to eat. There was so much bread and cheese I thought I would never poop again and was on the verge of bursting but it did make sleeping very easy. Louise graciously gave us her bed and she took her roommates bed because she was away for the weekend.
