James woke up in the morning feeling just as bad and so he layed around and rested for the first half of the day but I (Jackie) did manage to convince him to do some of that laying around down by the lake for a bit as the sun had come out. In the afternoon Hans and Diane took us to the harbour where their sail boat is kept and took us out on the lake for a couple hours. Hans is an avid sailor and used to sail in the race that was going on the night that we had arrived in Nonnenhorn.

It was an absolutely beautiful afternoon and even though sailing was never something on my have to do list it was a great experience and something I am very glad I've now gotten to do in my life! Of course James and I didn't actually do much though since we're absolutely clueless and we were with very seasoned sailors; we mostly just posed with the rutter and pretended we were "sailing", haha.

Since Hans and Diane had a friend's birthday to attend that night we went to Sylvia and Dieter's house to watch a movie with them and the kids. At this point Jaron and Amy really hadn't warmed up to us yet. Jaron was not bad and would at least acknowledge us but Amy is only five and we think she was sure she had to talk to us in english (which she was only just learning) and so she just preferred not to talk at all, haha. Since we don't know german though we watched the movie in english and I guess afterward Amy asked her mom if she could watch it again in german the next day, too cute!
