For our first day in Nonnenhorn the rain didn`t go away (we all kind of joked that James and I had brought it with us from Ireland since the rain came the night before right after we got down to the lake). Sylvia was in the greenhouse preparing flower arrangements for a wedding (that was sadly suppose to be outside that day but had to be moved inside because of the rain) and so we went into the greenhouse to check out her work and to just look around.
For lunch Hans and Diane took us to a Vietnamese resataurant since we had said we hadn`t made it to Vietnam like we wanted to, so they said they were taking us to Vietnam in Nonnenhorn! haha. Before the food came Hans and James had to go back though to help carry the big flower archway Sylvia had made for the wedding up to the church (James was happy to finally be doing some sort of work, even if it did only last five minutes)
We didn`t really accomplish anything else that day, except maybe a little laundry and Hans and Diane took us for a walk around town and showed us the old wine mill in town. The next day was the same too. The clouds stayed looming overhead and would rain on and of both days. That day though (the 19th) Hans and Diane took us to Lindau and we walked around the island part of the town and they told us about a bunch of the buildings, the harbour, and some of the sailboats around. For lunch they took us back to Nonnenhorn to a very nice restaraunt run by a swiss lady that is a friend of their`s. We all ended up having the fish special and the food was amazing, even the salad bar to start was spectacular; we`re definately being spoiled!
