The next day I, Jackie, sat in bed reading for the majority of the day and James sat in the tv room working on the blog and just messing around on the computer. We really only left to go to get groceries to feed ourselves that day.
We arrived in town at around 2:00pm, June 1, and got settled into our hostel (which was right beside the bus station). We spent the rest of the day just chilling in the t.v. room. We did go on a free walking tour of the city centre of Inverness at 7:30pm. It was free because it was the very first day they were doing this tour. Our guide walked us through town telling us about historical facts and some very funny stories about the town aswell. We ended at a pub where we tried some haggis and had a few drinks while we listened to some awesome music. There was a little old lady with the band who played on a small hand drum and looked like she was really getting into it, it was quite humorous. One of the guys in the band played the bag pipes and he was amazing; being inside though it was insanely loud. When we had our fill of the irish pub music we made our way back to the hostel to get some sleep.
