This was a complete waste of a day; we spent the majority of the day in the hostel bar doing our blog. It takes almost as long to write this damn blog as is does to see the sites but our fans want James and Jackie so we're not going to let them down! Haha. We finally got on our train to Liverpool at 5:30pm and arrived at 9:30pm after missing our stop and having to go back two stations, oops. We found a grocery store and had a late supper then went straight to bed, and again, for the second time in the UK found that we were in a dorm with no-one else, which is nice. The crappy thing about hostels here though we've found is the beds are horrible, you can seriously feel every spring in the bed digging into you, and this isn't an exaggeration! Trying to read while lying on your side in bed sucks because the springs your arm is resting on cut off the circulation and your arm gets sore and goes numb, grrr.

On another note we have found our new treat, cherry bakewell tarts! My cousin Corey introduced us to them in London and since then we've bought a few and plan to buy many more. It's basically a tart shell with a bit of cherry pie filling in the bottom and then the rest is filled with an almond cake and topped with sugar and almond slices; they come in different varieties but these are the ones we've tried and absolutely love!!

The next morning (29th) when we woke up we realized that we hadn't booked any train tickets out of Liverpool or hostels so again we spent almost the entire day sitting in front of our computer comparing hostels and trying to get the cheapest train tickets we could. Our goal was also to get our blog posted up to today, that didn't happen again so now we are a week behind. Again. We did however manage to book hostels in Inverness (Loch Ness!!) and in Edinburgh before we leave Scotland so we have the rest of the UK planned, yaaay!
