After the bird market we walked to the fish market, which was just a whole bunch of fish stores selling aquariums, equipment and special fish and reptiles
After the jade market we ended up wandering to a huge pedestrain street and there were people absolutely EVERYWHERE. We would have expected to be overwhelmed by something like this but we ended up really enjoying just the experience of it all....definately more people than at West Ed.
We stopped for supper at a street restaurant before heading towards the avenue of stars to watch a light and music show that is put on every night at 8 o’clock. On the way I (Jackie) decided to take a quick look ina Sketchers store not really expecting to by anything and ended up coming out with a pair of Shape-ups sandals! As my sandals broke in New Zealand I was in bad need of a new pair and I decided I wanted to spend a little on a good pair rather than crap that will just fall apart with all the walking we do. That fact that they may help tone me up even a tiny bit is an added bonus, but I do still keep my Keen's with my so I don't spend too much time walking in them right away...I've heard about some problems that can cause.
The light show ended up just being some green lasers, spotlights, and colorful lights that turned on and off to the music, nothing super spectacular. On our way back we found famous Chinese celebrity stars and their handprints like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and a statue of Bruce Lee.
