With only one week left in the camper we were kind of sluggish in our plans for the time being and just headed in the general direction of Sydney.
We went for a very long drive through the forest down a old logging road to see some waterfalls. After the falls we were trying to get to the 'Fern Gully Walk' (just because it was called fern gully). We ran into a sign that said the road was closed, too bad for us because the only other way around was 50km back the way we came which took us a good hour to drive in the first place! So we (mostly me James who was driving) decided that it was not worth the gas to see trees when we had been surrounded by them for the last two hours. We did though come across another waterfall (Minie haha falls) and stopped to take some pics at the mini falls
When we finally emerged from the bush we went and found a camping spot along the 'ninety mile beach'. We went for a walk on the beach and found some shells and a dead stingray that was being eaten by birds. It was extremely windy and cloudy though so it was only a short walk.
The next day was Day 100 of our trip!!!!!
We went to the library to phone Jackie's dad because it was his B-day but all we got was an answering machine. We went and visited St.Mary's cathedral in a town, which neither of us can remember the name of, that had lots of muriel's and hand-paintings all over the ceilings and walls.
We then had a very healthy lunch at McDonald's because it was raining and neither of us wanted to cook. We looked on the map and noticed a name of a mountain nearby named 'Mount Little Dick' and just had to get a picture of the sign (...James was typing this, so let me correct him- JAMES just had to get a picture of a sign with the title on it).
We then went on a random search for a place called 'Cabbage Tree', it turns out it was at the end of another shit road and it ended up just being a 10 minute walk through the trees and then back to the carpark. We were going to stay there the night but thought against it considering it was along way off the road and we didn't want to be murdered by backwoods people. Instead we got lucky a few towns down the road and found a parking/campsite for free.
