In the morning we went and visited Lucy and let me tell you she is one spry elderly dutch lady. She was cutting the grass with hedge clippers when we first got there then would not stop trying to force food onto us when were about to leave. But she was so very nice, told us plenty of stories and even let us have a shower there which was nice considering we hadn't showered in a couple days.

After we left Lucy's house we made our way towards Adelaide. Along the way we went to check out a 1.7km long ferry in Port Germaine; it must have been the heat going to our heads but we decided to walk to the end and back, frick! There was a breeze that kept the heat off us most of the way but as soon as we stepped off it we were hit with a wall of +40 heat and just barely made it back to the van to the air con. We stopped in Port Pirie to get some subway because it was to hot to cook and we just wanted to sit inside an air-conditioned room. We also phoned Francis's sister Marie who was supposed to be the next Van Vught family member we were to meet on our tour across the country. It turns out Francis never phoned his sister to let them know we were coming and was a bit suprised but welcomed us anyway (boy you Aussie's are nice people; or maybe it's just this family cause they've been amazing to us!).
