We stopped in Norseman for supplies before heading out towards Adelaide. We got only as far as Balladonia before I (James) was struck from the heavens by an accute case of tonsilitis. Needless to say Jackie was less than impressed considering she hadn't driven at all since we started and ended up driving over 1200km in the course of the next several days while I lay in the back of the van contemplating my own death. We stopped that night and were rewarded for our hard work with hot showers again ya!

Considering I was in the back resting nearly the entire way across the Nullabor Jackie described some of the things that she had seen along the way which included many trees that were decorated with trash such as a bra tree, an underwear tree, a small appliances tree, x-mas themed tree, and many more which ended up all over the place due to the wind that blew the garbage of the branches. There was also sand, small bushes, and maybe a couple rocks here or there; sounds like she had an exciting drive!

The only saving grace that we got was that as we crossed the Nullabor the temperature was fairly cool and it even rained one day just to cool things off some more, considering it was supposed to be in the low 40's it never got hotter than 35 degrees. Which is awesome when it comes time to sleep in our van with no protection from the heat at night!
