Our bus didn't stop anywhere near Chinatown where we planned to stay but we just ignored the swarm of taxi drivers that we lined up by our bus and walked over to the LRT station which took us straight to Chinatown. It was incredibly hot out so thankfully we were even closer to the guest house we wanted to check out than our map lead us to believe (gotta LOVE when that happens!) and the guest house was decent so we didn't even try to look around we just collapsed in the room.
Our mission this day was to go to the electronics mall and by James a mini laptop. Trying to find internet cafe's and paying to go out and use computers when our guesthouses all have free wifi is starting to get on our nerves so we decided we need one.
By the time we got back outside it was pouring rain so we made very confused b-line trying to follow the map almost straight to the bus stop. Once we found our way we asked for the right bus number and waited. The bus drivers always seemed to be incredibly nice on city buses and when you ask if the bus stops at a certain place it tells them where your going and they always seem to let you know where exactly to get off, much appreciated by us since we would probably otherwise get screwed up!
Once in the mall we were amazed by the 6 story mall completely filled with computers, tvs, phones, cameras, and accessories. We checked out countless numbers of laptops, and Jackie was gawked at and stared at by countless guys, before we decided on one we had checked out back on the first floor. Sometimes walking up to a stand was funny because if Jackie was there first the guy would immediately point out if the computer came in pink or not....what an important feature.
After our purchase we headed back to the hotel and plugged it in and stayed in the room playing with our new toy the rest of the evening.
