We got up in the morning, James still drunk and Jackie trying to drink enough water to not feel the hangover, and had some breakfast then went straight to the internet cafe to go talk to our family back home. It was x-mas eve night back home so our families wer still up celebrating.
James called his parent's place first and got passed around from family member to family member while I (Jackie) tried to put my head up close enough to his ear to hear bits and peices, lol).
Then I skyped my family, which I could barely see since the lighting in the room they were in is horrible and it was night so it was dark. It's pretty hard to talk to 5 people in a room at once, with another two on the phone with them! lol!
We're so happy we got to talk to our families, since it's been about a month now, and this was my (Jackie) first christmas away from my family!
It helps being on an island with +30 weather though because it doesn't really seem like christmas so it passes a lot easier without feeling homesick!

Later we went out for a christmas supper with our friends Thom and Louise (that is, after we spent the rest of the day in bed trying to catch up on sleep).

Merry Christmas everybody!

Hi guys. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2011. Glad you're scuba diving is going well. It sounds like tons of fun. Hope I can try it some day!
