SuperFerry is a boat so massive that its owner took two words and merged them. You can do that in the Philippines. I've become a bit of a boat freak over the past few years and wanted to do the twenty-four hour journey from Cebu to Manila in style. That's not to say that everyone on board is doing it in style, but for only a few extra dollars it can be done that way. And SuperFerry has a specialty restaurant where you can eat the balls of squid, or the necks of chicken. I have proof. Look at the  photo on the side.

SuperFerry is sooo big that the lens of our tiny camera couldn't capture it all. Here's its website:

Ellen and I are in Manila now. I woke up this morning and made a regretful decision. We won't be by the sea for who-knows-how-long, so I washed my hair. It was the first time since we left Toronto. My wonderful cord-like locks are gone, replaced with dry, straw-like hair that blows all over my head and tickles the back of my neck at the slightest breeze. I'm unhappy with my decision and have become quite irritable.

We're eating breakfast in a little spot just around the corner from the Bayview Hotel, where the hair washing took place. Ellen and I have come to ordering two different breakfasts, then sharing the pair. This morning she ordered scrambled eggs, toast and beans. I chose the french toast. She graciously allowed me to have all of the beans. It's the kind of thing you do when you're old and in love.

I read the last two entries and decided to watch the "TripWow" you put together over the last 10 or so years and am so completely blown away that I am actually speechless. I'll comment on the next blog when I stop reeling....
