What a journey it has been for the last year! Went from a
regular working stiff with a house in the suburb and a garage full of toys to
sharing a house with 5 other people to 2 suitcases as of today. Well
technically I have 'stuff' all over with friends and family but it's somewhat
doubtful that I'll see my 'stuff' again if I chose to continue this lifestyle.
You really can live w/o most of the material belongings. The only things I hate
living w/o are my sporting equipment and a few motorcycles, and of course I
brought my laptop with me even though the electricity availability is
uncertain. 



my PC volunteer group of 23 met up in Los Angeles for our staging. it was nice
getting to know everyone in the interesting and diverse group. We came from a wide
spread of geographical areas in the US and age range from 21 to
72.  a guy in his 60's was going to do
the volunteer work with his wife when they both retire but she passed away from
cancer a few years ago so he's carrying this 'mission' out solo for her. What a
touching story. I seem to have more 'connections' with other people from the
group. I have lived in S.F. bay area, Dallas, Denver, Michigan
upper peninsula and so did quite a few other volunteers in the group.
